International Partnership Scholarships 2025 in New Zealand

If you wish to visit one of the beautifully-built city of Europe enrich with colorful gothic architecture, this is your chance! The University of Otago of New Zealand located in Dunedin is accepting applications for the International students who wish to study there for minimum four semesters. 

The university is providing scholarships to invite international applicants to study there and is accepting application for second semester students also. Second semesters students will start receiving funding once they start their studies at the University of Otago. For living expenses, Dunedin is rather a cheaper place to live. 

Programs Offered

The University of Otago offers programs in various fields of study in over 140 subjects of Sciences, Business, Humanities, and Health Sciences. 

Benefits

Scholarship amount will cover tuition fees of NZD$10,000 for the international students applying for first semester.

Students who join the university in second semester will receive half of it when they start their studies there. 

Eligibility

 The eligibility criteria for the University of Otago indicates that:

• Students must have high school certificate or equivalent education at the time of application and should be attested from IBCC

• Pakistani students should enroll in the program and apply for scholarship to be eligible for it. Those who have already secured admission are also eligible for this funding

• Student must intend to complete minimum 2 years (4 semesters) at the University of Otago

• This scholarship is only for undergraduate students

• IELTS is required in some programs. Applicant should check program requirements before applying.

To be eligible for scholarship, indicate your interest for International Partnership Scholarship during the application process while applying for your field of interest on the portal. You won't be selected automatically for the scholarship if you get selected for the degree program.

Does university provide anymore scholarship for the International students? 

The University of Otago offers Vice-Chancellor's International Postgraduate Scholarships for the Master’s students. You can apply for two semesters exchange too. International applicants who wish to pursue a research based degree are being facilitated by the International Master's Research Scholarship. The amount of this scholarship is higher with more benefits including course fee reduction. For choosing course work master’s program, Coursework Master's Scholarship is offered. Some of other scholarships names awarded by the university are Pathway scholarship, Doctoral scholarships, and International Academic Excellence Scholarships. 

Is there any opportunity for the students who wish to pursue degree through distance learning?

Vice-Chancellor's International Postgraduate Scholarships is also being offered to the International distant-learning students except for a few Subjects including Science Communication and MBA. 

Is there any scholarship to support Summer School Students? 

The University of Otago does not offer any scholarship to support Summers School Students.
