The Pasteur-Paris University International doctoral program (PPU) invites application from students majoring in Biology, Microbiology, Virology, Infectious Diseases, Biotechnology, Genetics, and Cell Biology as all the doctoral projects are relevant to it. The focus of research is international collaboration to encourage interdisciplinary research regarding biomedical sciences, public health and infectious diseases. It is a great networking opportunity to interact with international researchers.

Host institutes include Institut Pasteur, Institut Imagine, Sorbonne Université, Université Paris Cité, and Université Paris-Saclay in France and providing this prestigious opportunity to the students who have Master’s degree from non-French Universities.

Travel allowance

Eligibility

Student must have Master’s degree in Science, Medicine or relevant field discipline.
Non-French degree holder and students should not be residing in France while applying for the project.
Accepted student must be committed for a full-time scientific degree program for three years.
Laboratory experience regarding relevant project and at least one publication is required to check the research capabilities of the applicants.

Applicant should go through the project details he is applying for.

Draft a CV relevant to the project and contact the relevant Laboratory Supervisor to get acceptance. Student should showcase his skills and expertise in CV.

It is suggested to attach CV and Research Proposal to email sending to Potential Supervisor.

Once get the acceptance, you may proceed with the application through the online portal of official PPU platform. By creating a student ID, student can apply.

May I get acceptance without a Research Proposal?

Research Proposal is mandatory for the PhD applications.

I have relevant degree but my research expertise does not match with the project titles, what should I do?

It is recommended not to spam the mailbox of professor if your research background does not align with the professor’s work. You may get funding regarding your research expertise if you contact the professors relevant to your field.
