SIIT Graduate Scholarships 2025 Intake

Application Status

One of the best universities of Thailand, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology has started accepting applications from international students offering them full-funded scholarships in some engineering and science disciplines. 

Pakistani students who wish to pursue engineering must apply for this scholarship and get a chance of studying in an International institute. Some offered disciplines such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things are in high demand and leading career. It would be a great opportunity to secure a funded Master’s or PhD degree in the highly demand field of study. Duration of Master's program is 2 years while PhD duration is 3 years and thus, PhD scholar will receive more stipend during his degree program. 

As the admission requirements are lenient so apply as soon as possible before the deadline.

Benefits

Selected applicants will get the following benefits upon joining the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology.

• Tuition fees will be waived off for the above mentioned field of study. 

• International students will be provided support for their research work and thesis.

• International (foreign) students will receive additional stipend of 10,000 Thai Baht to cover their expenses including visa, health insurance and for English proficiency certificate.

• Airfare ticket coverage from home country to Thailand will also be done by the university. 

Eligibility

Applicants are preferred to have English proficiency certificate with the test score of IELTS 4.5+ / TOEIC 500+ / TOEFL 400+. 

However, English Proficiency Certificate is not mandatory and students can proceed with the application without it too. 

For academic record, CGPA of 2.75 is required in undergraduate degree for Master’s degree application.

For PhD program application, undergraduate transcript, and Master’s transcript with the CGPA. 3.50 is required. 

How to Apply 

Application procedure is easy and online. Applicants simply have to upload required document and personal information for successful submission of application. 

Required Documents

• Statement of Purpose (minimum requirement of one-page SOP)

• A detailed resume 

• Official transcript of Bachelor’s degree for Master’s application and both bachelor’s and Master’s for PhD application 

• Any additional document (Internship/Publication/project etc.)

• National ID or passport copy 

• Photograph (1 x 1.5 inches’ size as jpeg. only)

FAQs

Does university offer any exchange program for foreign students?

Yes, university offers student exchange program and provide a chance to study at SIIT to foreign students. Further academic record is also being sent to home university. You can check website for more information.

If I get selected for this scholarship, when will the semester will start?

As this is for 2025 intake, first semester for these programs will start in January till June.

May I apply with English proficiency certificate issued by the university instead of IELS score as mentioned in eligibility? 

English proficiency certificate is not mandatory and yes, applicants may apply with English proficiency certificate issued by the university or without it too. 

May I apply for a second Master’s degree in the above mentioned fields?

Yes, there is no such restrictions for applicants and anyone with a relevant bachelor’s transcript can apply. 

Will the publication enhance my application acceptance?

Publication may add point to your application. However, it is not required to earn the scholarship. You can write an excellent Statement of Purpose (SOP) to highlight your motivation and win the scholarship without publication too.
