University of Adelaide Research Scholarships
At the University of Adelaide, two doctoral research positions regarding, ‘New Approaches to Combat Herbicide Resistance in Weeds’, are open under the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology (SET). The accepted applicants will get experience of working on the effectiveness of herbicides and developing new herbicide which are resistant to weeds. The aim of project is to develop methodologies and products that help the farmers in getting high crop yields with better food security, not only in Australia but globally.
The positions are supervised under the Dr. Tatiana Soares whose lab is focused on developing novel methodologies to combat the anti-microbial resistance. Students will get a chance of working and collaborating with international research giants both at academic and industrial level during their period.
The position opened at 3rd July 2024 and will be closed until filled.

Doctor of Philosophy for Up to 3.5 years
Benefits
During the doctor programs at the University of Adelaide, stipend of around $34,210 per annum will be given to the accepted researcher under the category of Financial need scholarship.
Eligibility
Post-graduate degree in the relevant field of study
Must be eligible to apply for an international visa.
