Prospective International Student Accommodation Support Scholarships in Australia

UQ offers a wide range of programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, and research levels across various fields like science, engineering, business, arts, and health.

Eligibility

An international student in accordance with the University’s Fee Policy in the year of the award;  

Enrolled full-time in an Approved Program in the year of the award; and 

A resident at International House in the year of the award.  

Selection criteria

The Scholarship is awarded to the student showing the greatest merit based on – 

Academic achievement; and 

Any other matter that the selection committee considers to be relevant to the applicant’s future success in their studies. 

The University of Queensland Australia is offering project oriented scholarships in Agriculture, IT, Environment, Health Science, Engineering, Humanities, Economics, Tourism and Business. As the research projects are funded and you will be working on result-driven projects, tuition fees and health insurance will be covered by the scholarship. You will receive monthly stipend during the degree. 

English language requirements

IELTS overall 7; reading 6.5; writing 6.5; speaking 6.5; listening 6.5. For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ

TOEFL iBT (including Paper Edition) - Overall 100, listening 21, reading 21, writing 24, speaking 21

PTE Academic - Overall 72, all sub bands minimum 64

BE - A minimum overall grade of 5 plus a minimum grade of A in Writing and Speaking

CES - Overall 185, all sub bands minimum 176

Postgraduate Business, Management, and Marketing courses University of Dundee

Business examines external operational factors. Marketing uses communication, advertising, PR, and research to promote goods. Management oversees people, processes, and systems.

Teaching and learning

In Semester 1, the taught phase of the course, you will study modern concepts of molecular genetics through intensive laboratory classes. You will be trained in laboratory techniques and will develop your proficiency in experimental design through hands-on laboratory experiments.

Alongside the laboratory classes, you will have a core lecture programme, which is shared between our various postgraduate laboratory-based courses and will develop your specialist knowledge. There are also optional lectures in fields related to your own, which will allow you to increase your understanding of the interdisciplinary aspects of your speciality.

If you are resident outside the UK and the Republic of Ireland, you will need to pay a deposit of £3,000 to secure your place. This will be subtracted from your total tuition fee.

From 2022 onwards, EU nationals will pay the International fee. If you are an EU national with settled or pre-settled status under the EU settlement scheme, you may qualify for the UK fee (subject to criteria).

The University of Wollongong (UOW) is a leading Australian institution known for its strong academic programs, cutting-edge research, and vibrant campus life. Located in New South Wales, UOW offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across various disciplines.

Eligibility requirements

The successful candidate will have excellent marks in their undergraduate degree and must have completed a research thesis (e.g. Honours, Masters, MSci) of similarly high quality. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of solid Earth processes, fluid dynamics, quantitative skills, and programming skills (for example, python).

To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must be fee-paying international students, commencing their studies in 2025 in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.

VTAC offers 

When you submit your course preference list to VTAC, they’ll work out what your highest-placed university offer is. First-round offers are released in late December (after ATARs are available).
