How to Apply

Applicants will submit their application through online portal.

Required Documents

Prepare the documents in advance before the start of application so you do not miss the deadline.

Supervisor’s Acceptance Letter; You should start contacting relevant potential supervisors of USTC or UCAS to get an acceptance letter before the start of application. Make sure you email only those professors whose research profile matches your interest and past academic experiences. 

Criteria 

Must be a Pakistani or AJK national when applying through HEC portal

Applicants must be medically fit without any health issue

Must have degree of passed examination, whose degrees are in process or not completed cannot apply for CSC scholarships

They also have to meet the Chinese University’s additional criteria

Benefits Of Chinese Government Scholarship   

Full tuition fee including admission will be covered by the CSC

Free accommodation will be provided to successful candidates

Monthly stipend of 2500, 3000 and 3500 CYN for bachelors, masters and PhD scholars respectively

Though CSC will not provide a single penny to cover travel expenses 

Categories Of CSC Scholarships

There are three types of scholarships announced by China Scholarship Council

Chinese Government Scholarship Type A

Through this scholarship type students can apply directly to the China embassy for CSC scholarship, and students can apply to maximum two universities through this category.

Chinese Government Scholarship Type B

Through this type, applicants can apply through Chinese universities for CCS Scholarships. Though they can apply to 3 universities by this CSC Scholarship category/ type.

Benefits of CSC Scholarship

Recipients of the CSC scholarship stand to gain a great deal. These consist of complete payment for living expenses, housing, education and health insurance. Learners receive a monthly stipend which is 25000 to 35000 Yuan per month to assist with daily expenses.

The stipend provides students with financial support so they can focus on their studies. The location and degree of study have an impact on the stipend's amount.
