In prior academic education, the student must have achieved excellent study results which are relevant for the programme for which the student wishes to enrol. As an indication, the student will be among the top 10% for the relevant programme followed abroad.
The LExS is only valid for the period the student is registered at Leiden University as a full time student within the time frame of the study programme. The maximum study period for a 1-year programme (60EC) is 12 months. The maximum study period for a 2-year programme (120EC) is 24 months.

This Summer School is organized by the United Nations University-Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT) and Funded by the Global Gateway initiative of the European Union.
ITU UNU MERIT Summer School 2025
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory.
Professionals: Individuals actively working on projects related to digital transformation or sustainability.

UM Brightlands Talent Scholarship
The UM Brightlands Talent Scholarship programme offers four full coverage scholarships (including a tuition fee waiver and monthly stipend) per academic year for a selected number of top-performing non-EU/EEA students with personal development potential that have been (conditionally) admitted to a master's programme connected to the Brightlands campi.
A mandatory component of the UM Brightlands Talent Scholarship is participating in the thesis-intership-programme (TIP), requiring scholarship recipients to write their thesis to an assignment for one of the companies on the respective Brightlands camp.

Literature Review and Theoretical Integration:
Conduct thorough reviews of existing research on psychotherapy training, common principles of change, and deliberate practice.
Development of Psychotherapy Interventions:
Collaborate in designing novel, online, evidence-based, principle-based and marker-led psychotherapy training program (e.g., Emotion-Focused Training).
Research Design and Implementation:
Develop and conduct empirical studies to test the effectiveness of the newly designed training programs.
