The International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna is Austria’s oldest international piano competition and ranks among the most renowned music competitions today. The competition is open to young pianists in any classical piano repertoire.
Admissible Criteria:
Must be a young pianist of any nationality.
Must adhere to the repertoire requirements specified by the competition.
HOW DO I APPLY?
ISTA processes applications to its PhD program once a year. To apply, you have to create an online account, which will allow you to track your application through its various stages. We do not accept applications and documents received outside of this system.

Andrássy Postgraduate scholarship of the BMBWF
With an Andrássy scholarship of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) students can study a one- to two-year master’s degree programme at the German-speaking Andrássy University in Budapest (DUB).
Students can carry out their studies at the Faculties of International Relations, Central European Studies or Comparative Political Studies and Law. Graduates of bachelor’s programmes, traditional diploma degree programmes and master’s programmes can apply for this scholarship.

This scholarship provided eligible studnets 25% off the first-year tuition fee up to a maximum of 200 credit points only.
University of Klagenfurt
The University of Klagenfurt is a federal Austrian research university and the largest research and higher education institution in the state of Carinthia ranked 486th in QS World University Rankings 2023.
Eligible Countries:
Students from Austria and other EEA countries can apply.
Eligible Course or Subjects:
Master’s program of choice offered at the University of Klagenfurt can be applied for.
Criteria:
The applicants must have not yet reached the age of 30 at the beginning of the Master’s programme.
Application Deadline: The application deadline is 30th April 2023.
University of Innsbruck
The University of Innsbruck will provide up to $10,000 per year for at most two years. There are approximately 12 students selected annually.
Eligible Countries:
Students of all non-EU and other nationalities are eligible to apply.
Eligible Course or Subjects:
Master and executive master degree programmes offered at MCI can be applied for.
Eligibility Criteria:
The applicants must be committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aim to further engage with and promote these goals during their studies.
The applicants must be fresher who are required to pay the current annual tuition fee.
