It is open to International students to pursue a Master’s Degree program from one of the Leading British Universities. The Duration of the Scholarship is one year. For the 2025-26 academic year, there are 200 GREAT Scholarships available in more than 70 UK Universities in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This prestigious £5,000 award recognises academic excellence and is awarded to selected students starting a masters degree in February 2025.
Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible applicants must:
Be an overseas fee-paying student
Hold an offer to study a full time masters programme (excludes part-time, distance-learning courses and the MBA)
Be self-funded (you must be paying for your studies independently rather than being sponsored or in receipt of another scholarship)
Not be from the Surrey International Study Centre (SISC).
Applicants in receipt of the International Excellence Award will not be eligible for the alumni discount as the value of this award is higher.

The bursary program is open to new, full-time international students enrolling in MSc, PGDip, and MBA programs starting in January 2025. Applicants must be fee-paying, meet RAU’s academic and visa requirements, and have an offer of admission.
