'MOL Scholarship' Program Established to Aid International Students

MOL Scholarship is a part of MOL's corporate citizenship program that provides financial support to international students, primarily from African countries.

The program is intended to promote the development of highly skilled human resources who will be responsible for the future economic development of countries in Africa and other regions through financial support for students from countries with which MOL has close ties.

Examples include Mauritius, where the company is involved in activities to restore and preserve the natural environment, and Kenya, where an MOL Group company has warehousing and logistics operations and a business importing used agricultural machinery from Japan.

Saitama University is a Japanese national university ranked 1627th in Best Global Universities. It is located in a suburban area of Sakura-ku, Saitama City, capital of Saitama Prefecture in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, founded in 1949.

Eligible Course or Subjects:

 Undergraduate study programmes offered at Saitama University can be applied for.

Eligibility:

The applicants must be enrolled in a university-authorized athletic club.

Kochi University of Technology

The university was first founded in 1997 by the first president Professor Yasuharu Suematsu with a mission to produce scholars with general knowledge of a wide range of fields along with extensive and practical ability.

Eligible Countries: 

Students from China can apply.

Eligible Course or Subjects: 

PhD and doctoral study programs in the fields of Intelligent Mechanical Engineering, Electronic and Photonic Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Energy Engineering, Infrastructure Systems Engineering, Environmental and Mathematical Sciences.

To be eligible:

The applicants must have an excellent academic record and strong bachelor’s and master’s degrees from reputable universities in China or other countries.

Kochi University of Technology

 The Kochi University of Technology is an ambitious university that set out to become a world-class university through the pursuit of unique excellence. 

Eligible Countries: 

Students from China can apply.

Eligible Course or Subjects: 

PhD and doctoral study programs in the fields of Intelligent Mechanical Engineering,

Criteria: 

The applicants must have an excellent academic record and strong bachelor’s and master’s degrees from reputable universities in China or other countries.

National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies

Eligible:

 All overseas students are eligible to apply.

 Master’s program in public policy taught at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies are eligible to apply.

 Criteria:

The applicants must be international students at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies.
