The objective of the Einstein Fellowship Program is to invite interested candidates to conduct research in a field different from their previous research. Fellows will stay in Garden Cottage of Einstein’s summerhouse in Caputh, Brandenburg. IELTS and TOEFL are not required. Below you will find more details about the Einstein Fellowship Requirements, benefits, and the application process.
Eligibility Criteria
The Fellowship is open to all the Nationals.
Applicants must be under 35 years old.
Applicants must hold a university degree in humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences.
Your proposed project must be different from your previous research experience.
Simply demonstrate that your proposed project is different from your previous work (e.g., master’s thesis, published essays, books).


The program provides valuable experience in a world-class scientific environment, allowing participants to contribute to research projects and learn about the ESO organization. There is no application fee.
Astronomy Knowledge: Interns should possess a broad knowledge and interest in basic astronomy, including topics like:
Stargazing
How telescopes work
Key astronomical objects
Language Skills: Good knowledge of both English and German is required.


The University of Augsburg offers this supplementary certificate as training for counsellors in conducting ecclesiastical marriage annulment proceedings. Students are introduced to the basics of Catholic canon law and ecclesiastical marriage and procedural law.
Degree Programmes

Eligibility Criteria
The HLF Forum is open to all the Nationals.
Students of mathematics and computer science (or closely related fields) can apply.
Undergraduate/Pre-Master students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree are eligible.
Those who are enrolled in a PhD program can also apply.
Postdoc: Earned a PhD within the past 5 years. This includes individuals working in the private sector or as Assistant Professors.
