The University of Suffolk invites outstanding international students to apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarships for January 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship (2024/5), applicants must:
Have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a 360-credit undergraduate or 180-credit postgraduate-taught programme delivered by the University of Suffolk at the Ipswich campus
Be studying on a full-time basis
Have applied to commence studies in the 2024/5 academic year
Be self-funding and classified as Overseas for fee purposes (international fees)
Have applied for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship (2024/5) prior to the scholarship application deadline (see below)
Undergraduate applicants must be starting their studies in Year 1 (Level 4)
The University of Suffolk invites outstanding international students to apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarships for January 2025. Offering £4,000 per year, this scholarship supports 25 full-time undergraduate and postgraduate-taught students who have demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to global change.

Undergraduate Applicants:
For foundation programs: WAEC (or equivalent) with no lower than a B grade.
For Year 1 entry: A-Levels, IB, or WAEC with no lower than a B grade, plus one year of HND or Year 1 Bachelor’s completion.
Postgraduate Applicants:
A Second-Class Upper Division (2:1) or equivalent in undergraduate studies.
Submission of two (2) video responses (2 minutes each) addressing:
Why the applicant should be considered for the Study Now Scholarship.
How the scholarship will help achieve their career and life ambitions.
Evidence of participation in extra-curricular activities.
Ability to meet UKVI financial and visa requirements and fund their living expenses for the entire study period.

Conceptual Design:
You may contribute to the early stages of project development by assisting in the evolution of conceptual designs for infrastructure projects. This will involve considering factors such as functionality, feasibility, and sustainability and collaborating with architects, designers, and other professionals to develop innovative and practical solutions.
Civil Drawing:
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects. This includes using computer-aided design (CAD) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) software to produce accurate and comprehensive drawings that can be used for construction and documentation purposes.
