The Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) is a public research university in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China. It is one of the most prestigious universities in China and is consistently ranked among the top 10 universities in the country. The HIT Chinese Government Scholarship Program is open to all students from all countries. 

Eligibility Criteria

Must not be a Chinese citizen.

Be Physically fit.

Applicants for a master’s degree must be under 35 years old with a bachelor’s degree.

Applicants for a doctoral degree must be under 40 years old with a master’s degree.

IELTS is not required: If the previous degree was taught in English, the applicant may provide an English Proficiency Language Proof from the awarding institution.

China announces scholarships programme for Pakistani students

The Average Cost for the MBBS course in China is Between PKR 8-9 Lakh Per year for Pakistani Students which includes Tuition and Hostel fees for one Academic year (two Semesters) and the Teaching Medium is English. The total cost for the Six-year MBBS degree in China starts from PKR 50 Lakh, which includes the last year of the Clinical internship that must be completed in China.

The tuition and Hostel accommodation fees for the MBBS program in China start from RMB 20,600/Year  ($3000) a year. In China, it is the most affordable Fee for international Students who want to pursue an MBBS Degree in China. Chinese Medical Universities are Recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).

Eligibility Criteria for Securing Yenching Scholarship 

Criteria for Acceptance in Yenching-Peking University is as follows: 

Bachelor's degree or about to graduate before August 31, 2025. 

Keen interest in interdisciplinary Chinese studies.

Excellent academic qualification

Proficient in English

Certificates of extracurricular achievements, public spirit, leadership capabilities, volunteer work and active community engagement

 Enrolling in another degree program while studying at Peking University is not allowed.

Scholarships

With its target to encourage 500,000 international students to study in China by 2020, the government set up a program to further entice foreign students through the offer of scholarships.

International students are eligible to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship Program. The scholarship is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students for study at 243 Chinese universities. The scholarship covers all living expenses and student fees.

Full tuition fee including admission will be covered by the CSC

Free accommodation will be provided to successful candidates

Monthly stipend of 2500, 3000 and 3500 CYN for bachelors, masters and PhD scholars respectively

Though CSC will not provide a single penny to cover travel expenses 

Eligibility:

Must be a Pakistani or AJK national when applying through HEC portal

Applicants must be medically fit without any health issue

Must have degree of passed examination, whose degrees are in process or not completed cannot apply for CSC scholarships
