Coverage Of Australian Graduate Research Scholarship
The scholarship provides a comprehensive support package to successful candidates, which includes the following benefits:

Full tuition fees for the duration of the research program

Stipend of $33,000 will be given fortnightly to cover living expenses

As long as the student is able to provide proof of receipts, an AGRTPS student who relocates to Adelaide from another country is eligible for an establishment allowance of up to $1,485 upon arrival at Flinders University.
Eligibility Criteria For Australian Graduate Research Scholarship
To be eligible for the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

International students are eligible to apply.

Candidates having citizenship or permanent residence status in New Zealand and Australia are ineligible to apply.

Candidates must complete a university honors degree or postgraduate degree with a significant research component.

Candidates must meet the minimum requirement of English language proficiency levels.

After selection, candidates must intend to begin full-time research for a higher degree for the first time in Australia in the year the award is given.

Students who started a higher degree by research in the previous year but could not apply for an AGRTPS that year due to the timing of their admission and enrollment or who started a higher degree by research but stopped enrolling within six months may be eligible to avail of this opportunity.

Candidates must intend to enroll in a concentration area of research. These are areas in which the University excels, has concentrated its research resources, and due to which University attracts funding from outside sources.

How To Apply For Australian Graduate Research Scholarship
To apply for the scholarship, you must first apply for admission to a research degree (PhD or Master by research). If you already have a valid admission offer for a research degree from the university, you don't need to apply for admission again.

First, candidates have to register themselves for the university’s admission portal, candidates have to provide their personal information to activate their admission portal account.

After pressing the “Register” button, candidate have to wait for an hour to get their Flinders student ID.

After receiving their Students ID, candidates have to activate their account by visiting the link.

From that activation page, select the “Student ID” option, enter your Flinders students ID and your date of birth and then press the “Activate” button.

Then candidates will receive a Flinders Authentication Name (FAN), enter you FAN to the Flinders OKTA dashboard.

Then open the Students system section and select My Scholarship tab.

Select the “New Scholarship Application” button

Start filling out their AGRTPS scholarship application and then apply for the “RHD Scholarship Group”

Complete the scholarship application and upload the scanned documents saved in pdf form.

You can save your application in between and continue it later but you have to submit your application before the deadline. Application in save will not be considered.
Selection Process Of Candidates For Australian Scholarship
The Scholarships Committee will choose the recipients of the awards by considering their academic excellence and potential for research. The applications will be evaluated and ranked according to the University's Guidelines for Ranking Postgraduate Research Scholarship Applications. Priority will be given to students who are pursuing a higher research degree for the first time. This means that first-time research students will be given preference during the selection process.
