Applications Are Open For Chief Minister Merit Scholarship program

The Chief Minister Merit Scholarships (CMMS) / PhD level Foreign Scholarships Program is a scholarship program for students in Pakistan who are pursuing PhD-level studies at foreign universities. Students either male or female fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply for this PhD funding. It is a great opportunity for Pakistani students to pursue their research based degree from top 50 QS world ranked universities. This meritorious scholarship is offered to outstanding students of Punjab and other federations of Pakistan.

Distribution Of CMMS Scholarships

• Distribution according to study fields: 80% scholarships are reserved for science while 20% are reserved for social sciences, arts and humanities.

• Distribution according to area: 90% are available for Punjab and 10% for other provinces of Pakistan.

Who Are Eligible To Apply For CMMS Scholarships

Students who fulfill the following described eligibility criteria can apply for Chief Minister Merit Scholarship

• Applicants must hold an admission letter from any top 50 QS ranked universities in respective study filed

• Not have less than 60% marks in previous academic record

• Have to provide the income certificate with less than 200,000 PKR/ month (including self, parents and spouse)

• Age of the applicant must not be more than 35 years at the time of application

• Must not have availed any foreign scholarship before that

• Must be available to take the scholarship for current year and cannot defer to the next year

• Regular faculty members are not eligible to apply

CMMS scholarship is a fully funded program and covers the following expenses of selected candidates

• Covers student’s tuition fee (100%)

• Accommodation cost will be paid according to the approved rates of residential country

• Health insurance

• Selected students will get two way airfare
