Chevening scholarship stipend amount
The contribution to tuition fee through Chevening Scholarship for one-year postgraduate course is approximately £18,500.

You will receive, an average cost of £70–125 per week for shared housing or residence halls. This stipend will only cover your reasonable living costs, e.g. housing, utilities, food, and transportation.

£65–86 for utility bills (gas, water, electricity)
-
£20–40 weekly for food, and £20–40 weekly for local commuting costs. Your monthly stipend should cover your medical and dental expenses as Chevening Scholarship does not provide extra funding for medicines.
Note: The student will get their monthly stipend through cash card on the 21st of each month.

Chevening scholarship Pakistan Eligibility
To be eligible for a Chevening scholarship for Pakistan 2024 you must:

Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country (Pakistani citizens are eligible)

Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your scholarship has ended
-
Have a complete undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry to a post-graduate program at UK university. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honors degree in the UK

The applicant must be applied for a full-time master’s degree program, not less or more than 12 months.

Have at least two years’ (equivalent to 2,800 hours) work experience

Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by the deadline listed on the application timeline.
There is no upper age limit to be eligible for a Chevening award.

How To Apply For Chevening Scholarship

To apply for Chevening Scholarship, firstly must have to apply for admission in United kingdom’s university for one-year postgraduate course.

To get unconditional acceptance letter from UK’s university, you have to meet the admission eligibility criteria of the selected university you choose and submit the required documents.

After getting the letter of acceptance from university, you can visit to Chevening’s application section.

Select your country, then select your level of study and fill the Chevening scholarship application form.

You can apply at three UK’s Universities for three postgraduate courses of your choice but the curriculum of courses should be related to each other.

Chevening Scholarship Requirements

After your Chevening award has been ended, you must return back to your native country.

You must have an under graduate degree of bachelor honors (4-year duration study program) and must have transcripts of academic records (under graduate degree)

You must have at least two years work experience. For Chevening Fellowship, the work experience should be 5 years duration.

You must pass the English language proficiency test with required grades ton apply for Chevening scholarship.

IELTS/ PTE test results are the basic English language requirements for Chevening scholarship.

You must apply for postgraduate degree courses at one or three UK universities and must receive an unconditional letter of acceptance for any one of these applied courses

Tips For Applying For Chevening Scholarship

The applicant has to apply online through the online application system (OAS).

It is recommended that applicants apply through Google Chrome while using a laptop or a PC rather than a mobile or tablet

In order to apply successfully the size and format of the files should meet the requirements. The documents must be in JPG, PNG, or PDF form and not larger than 5MB.

The length of the file names must not exceed 50 characters.
