KAUST Scholarship program 2025 in Saudi Arabia Fully Funded

The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology offers this scholarship program for international students 2025 to continue their postgraduate programs in Saudi Arabia all over the world. Under this fully funded KAUST Scholarship program, students enrolled in the bachelor's program will be most welcome to continue their master's or PhD there without any limitations. KAUST Scholarship Requirements

Those applying online for the King Abdullah University Scholarship 2025 need to have the following documents. 

  • Statement of Purpose
  • GRE (not necessary)
  • University transcript
  • Graduation certificate
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Three letters of recommendation by professor or advisor
  • English language proficiency (79 TOEFL or 6.5 IELTS).
  • A citizen of one of the IDB member countries (visit the IDB Merit Scholarship Program for a comprehensive list of member countries)
  • Age not over 35 years
  • Working full time in an academic, research or development institute in the home country and nominated by such an institution
  • Meets the merit scholarship program eligibility criteria of the IDB.
  • At least one firm offers admission to a PhD program at KAUST.
     

NCKU

An official complete university Transcript/ Mark sheets/ Graduation Certificate/ Academic Record from every institution attended prior to NCKU must be submitted. A scan of the official transcript provided by the university in the native language must also accompany the certified English translation that is uploaded in the online application. The official transcript should have the grading scale from your university on all documents submitted to us. Upon acceptance, you must submit an official final transcript from your preceding institution in a sealed envelope to the Office of Admissions prior to arrival (part of the onboarding process).

Curriculum Vitae

Application for admission should also be accompanied by a summary of your job experience, research experience, and any other relevant information. If you have publications, please include abstracts of these in your resume.

KAUST Program

 750 words (approx.), detailing your past work experience, preparation for the field of study to be pursued, relevant background and interest, academic plan, and career objectives. Explain why you want to join a specific KAUST program for which you are applying.

 

Recommendation Letter

Three letters of recommendation submitted on your behalf. Letters of recommendation can be very important and should be written by professors or advisors under whom you have pursued research or taken courses in your major field of study. Recommendation letters should be submitted through the application directly from the recommender. Recommenders should include details of how he/she has known your work, as well as comparative statements (e.g., top 1% of class, best in past five years, etc.), and insight into your research ability.

English language test score

  1. International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Score of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all the individual sections

  2. TOEFL iBT Internet-based Test: Overall score of 79 along with a minimum of 17 in each section, the KAUST Admissions code is 4107.

  3. Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 62 overall, with at least 59 in all individual sections.

  • 176 overall, with at least 169 in all individual sections.
  • When an applicant holds a degree from an accredited institution in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand, then an English score is not necessary.
  • KAUST does not require the GRE exam for admission, although you may submit your scores if you have already taken the exam. Official test scores can be sent directly to KAUST Admissions using the GRE Code 4139.
