Who Can Apply?
The MPIL internship program is open to undergraduate and graduate students studying law or related subjects. This comprises students who are studying international relations, European affairs, philosophy, and political science.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Full-Time Enrollment: Your internship must take place while you are enrolled in a full-time degree program.
- Academic Excellence: Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic accomplishment as well as strong research and writing skills.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (C1 level) is required. While not required, knowledge of other languages, particularly German, is advantageous.
- PhD applicants: Unfortunately, PhD applicants are not eligible for this position.
Internship Details
- Duration: The internship lasts between 4 and 12 weeks, with an emphasis on 8 to 12 weeks. Interns are encouraged to stay for an extended period of time in order to get the most out of their experience.
- Compensation: Interns are paid a monthly stipend of €450, subject to income tax and social insurance rules.
