Study Free in Netherlands on UM Brightlands Talent Scholarship

The Brightlands is a group of four campuses that has researchers, entrepreneurs and students from various domains such as health, materials, chemistry, data science and other digital technologies. This international institute aims to bring creative thinker, problem solver and innovators together to do breakthrough research and create a global impact. 

Locations of campuses according to various majors are Maastricht, Heerlen, Sittard-Geleen and Venlo.

Benefit

UM Brightlands Talent Scholarship award benefits the accepted students in the following way:

• Tuitions fee waived off for the master’s applicants

• Visa and Permit Costs as Pakistani students have to apply for the long-stay visa (MVV) for study and work purpose

• Monthly allowance to cover living expenses i.e., €15,925 for 13 months if the duration and €30,625 for two years’ program  

• A compulsory thesis-internship-program (TIP)

• Pre-Academic Training Costs will also be covered by the scholarship.

Eligibility

Students must have high personal development potential 

Ambitious students are welcomed who have motivation to contribute to the development of campuses. 

Applicants hold nationality of non EU/EEA countries. 

Applicants have not studied in Netherlands before.

• Motivation letter (check template on website) 

• Academic transcripts and class ranking certificate 

• Personal statement 

• Reference letter 

• Contact details of one referee (including work telephone number and institutional email).
