The U.S. Department of State’s Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program allows students from Muslim majority countries to visit USA ‘youth ambassadors’ to promote mutual connection, understanding and long lasting friendship between American host families and students. This program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affair.

Eligibility

Pakistani students who are currently studying in 9th, 10th or 'O' Levels at the time of application must apply for the YES exchange program.

Applicant must be between 15-17.

Minimum 60% is required in all high school subjects and no failing grade between 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24.

Student must be able to communicate in English properly the time of application.

Only Pakistani citizen currently residing in home country can apply. Dual citizenship candidates are not eligible.

Anyone related to International Education and iEARN Pakistan project staff, either sibling or children are not eligible.

Family member of YES program alumni is also not eligible.

Print out the application form from official site. After completing it, attach the required documents and send it to SIE office. Check further instruction from the official site.
