Apply Everywhere:

You don’t just find and apply for one scholarship and hope to get it. Thousands of students apply for scholarships, competition is very fierce.  So, the system is to apply for everywhere scholarship where you are eligible.

The more scholarships you find, the more fund you get. Not everyone provides full expense scholarships. One may provide $5,000 and other $10,000. And there is no guarantee you will get the scholarship. Number of applied scholarships is never too much.

Deadlines:

A very common and easiest mistake that students do, is to miss the deadlines. No application is accepted after the deadline. It’s considered an expression of non-serious behavior and bad management. In order to avoid this constraint, you should write down all your deadlines or you can mark them on your calendar. Always apply as soon as possible before deadlines.

Create Applications:

Wherever you apply for scholarship, you will have to submit an application there. All requirements of application will be provided where you apply. Application comprises your all academics, achievements and why do you deserve this scholarship. This phase is very important because this is where they decide to either select or reject you.

Explain what makes you stand out. There should a complete list of your achievements, no modesty here. There are some dos and don’ts, you must look for. Make sure the email you use is a professional email, unless you want to be rejected before they even read your application.

Unprofessional Email Examples:

1.     dashing_boy72@gmail.com

2.    papa_ki_ladli1996@yahoo.com

3.    ali_hearthacker@hotmail.com

4.    princess_hamna@outlook.com

Professional Email Examples:

1.     aliraza99@yahoo.com

2.    usama_awan11@gmail.com

Know Your Audience:

You write an application to impress your sponsors. When writing an application for scholarship, try to think like them. Think, what you would expect if you were a sponsor. In whatever field you apply, selection team on other side comprises experts of that field. You have to give them the answer they want to read.

No need to write, “Because I am very intelligent/genius/smart” or “Please…” as an answer to why. It is not smart, it’s lame. They get hundreds of email like that.

Solve Everything Here:

You may be thinking of getting admission and a scholarship if possible and for after expense, to do a job abroad while studying. You can’t simply earn your way through studies in an abroad country. Conclude a solution to every problem here. If you are going to do a job, decide and get a job from here.

Same goes with scholarships, get as many scholarships as you can here. Do not leave it for later to solve. Unless you want to be living your student life there in debt or be deported back in middle of your studies.
