Finland has become one of the favorite countries for international students because the education system in Finland is considered one of the best education systems in the world. There are about 450 programs in Finnish universities that are taught in English.
Some Finnish Universities and the Government of Finland offer scholarships for bachelor’s and master’s degree programs for non-EU international students. Scholarships for doctoral programs are also offered to international students.
In order to study in Finland, you must know how to finance your studies. International students are usually required to cover their everyday living expenses which include accommodation expenses, food expenses, travel, etc.
Non-EU/EEA students who want to apply for Bachelor's or Master's degree programs in Finland that are taught in English have to pay tuition fees. The tuition fee usually depends on the degree course. The universities also offer Non-EU/EEA scholarships to the students.

There are very rare scholarship programs for EU/EEA students for Bachelor's and Master's degree programs because EU/EEA students are not required to pay any tuition fees. There is a National scholarship scheme (EDUFI scholarships) offered to students who want to come to Finland for taking admitted into the programs at the Doctoral level. The applicants are required to check which university offers scholarships for the Doctoral level.
Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarships are funded by the federal government’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Eligible applicants must be academically superior and must be interested in pursuing education in Finland.
Candidates, in order to qualify for this scholarship, should be receiving Pell Grants. They must be low-income candidates preference is given to those who belong to minority backgrounds or they are from community colleges and those who are disabled.
This scholarship program is awarded to top-notch students who want to take admitted to Finland universities. The Rotary funds the students to travel to Finland but does not fund every destination.
This organization offers graduate-level fellowships for students who want to study in Finland. It covers travel expenses, tuition, and allowances. The applicants are eligible if they are proficient in the Finnish language, and have a research project to qualify. The first-time applicants are given the preference.
