The Auckland University of Technology is offering Vice Chancellor Doctoral Scholarships for the 2018 year. These scholarships are awarded to domestic and international applicants who are qualified to register for full-time study in a doctoral degree at AUT.

The skills listed are not required, but are indicators that you are a good fit for the Program:
Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline such as physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or economics
Experience with analyzing datasets
Knowledge of linear algebra, probability, and statistics
Thorough knowledge of Python programming
Experience in other programming languages such as R, C++, Java, etc.
Experience with Discrete Optimization
Relevant work experience in financial management, banking, quantitative trading, algorithmic trading, data analytics, etc.
Eligibility
For students from NCUK who are wanting to continue their studies at the University of Waikato. Please note: this Bursary is for students who are able to begin their studies face-to-face in New Zealand, it will not be applied to students who begin their studies online.
An unlimited number of bursaries are available to NCUK graduates who meet the eligibility requirements and are intending on degree-level study at the University of Waikato in New Zealand, in 2023 and 2024.

The Unitec Institute of Technology will provide an award amount of $4,000. There are two awards available.
The University of Waikato was established in 1964 and is located in Hamilton, New Zealand. It offers a range of programs at undergraduate and graduate (master’s and PhD) levels.
Benefits:
$2,500 will be paid in cash directly to the recipient as soon as practicable after the scholarship is accepted.
$2,500 will be paid in cash directly to the recipient after the withdrawal date for B Trimester. On the confirmation, the student meets all conditions in clause 2.5.
The scholarship will have a maximum tenure of one year.
Lincoln University
Lincoln University’s dream is to be a globally-ranked, top-five land-based institute, opening the control of the ground to improve stamina and increase destiny.
Acceptable Course or Subjects:
The scholarship will be awarded in the undergraduate degree program offered by Lincoln University.
Admissible Criteria:
They are of M?ori descent and a New Zealand citizen.
Have gained NCEA Level Three, including University Entrance, or equivalent, before registering at Lincoln University, and have attended Secondary School within the last year. Register for a full-time Lincoln University undergraduate degree program.

University of Otago
The University was founded in 1869 and supported students in the field of sport, education, music, and the arts. It also delivers a high-level experience for students with various programs in its selected success area.
Admissible Criteria:
Applicants meet the eligibility standards set by the China Scholarship Council to apply for and receive one of its scholarships. Refer to the official website of the China Scholarship Council for more information.
Applicants must have admission into the PhD program at the University of Otago.
Acceptable Course or Subjects:
The scholarship will be awarded for a PhD degree in any subject offered by the university
