Students must have the following:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Dutch academic university.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Dutch university of applied sciences (hbo) combined with a havo diploma with at least a grade of 8 for Engels.
Language Requirement:
Students applying for an English-taught Master’s programme must show proof of the language requirements of the university.

During the fellowship, participants will attend lectures and seminars on International Law and will be awarded a Certificate at the end of the Fellowship.

This Summer School is organized by the United Nations University-Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT) and Funded by the Global Gateway initiative of the European Union.
ITU UNU MERIT Summer School 2025
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory.

If applicant have already received a degree from Leiden University then he/ she is not eligible to submit application
Students who already receiving a scholarship from Netherland cannot apply for Leiden University excellence scholarship program
