The University of Nottingham will offer scholarships covering a contribution of between £4,000 to £8,000 towards full-time master’s tuition fees for high-achieving international students in the Middle East and Turkey.
Eligible Countries:
Students from Afghanistan, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, UAE, and Yemen are eligible to apply.
Acceptable Course or Subjects:
The scholarship will be awarded in a Postgraduate degree program in any subject offered by the university.
Admissible Criteria:
Candidates must be domiciled in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, UAE, or Yemen.
Students must be classed as overseas students for fee purposes.
Students must hold an offer to start a full-time master’s (including MRes) in any subject area at the University of Nottingham in the UK.
Complete your postgraduate degree at the University of Nottingham by applying for the Middle East and Turkey Postgraduate Excellence Award and become a part of the team of expert researchers. International students are invited to apply for the academic year 2023-2024.

The British Council GREAT Scholarship is a popular Scholarship in UK Universities. It is open to International students to pursue a Master’s Degree program from one of the Leading British Universities. The Duration of the Scholarship is one year. For the 2025-26 academic year, there are 200 GREAT Scholarships available in more than 70 UK Universities in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

An applicant must be from an eligible country
An applicant must have completed an undergraduate degree.
Meet the English language requirement set by the UK University.
Must maintain contact with the British Council and act as an ambassador for the GREAT Scholarships.


International Excellence Award: Postgraduate February 2025 entry
This prestigious £5,000 award recognises academic excellence and is awarded to selected students starting a masters degree in February 2025.
Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible applicants must:
Be an overseas fee-paying student
Hold an offer to study a full time masters programme (excludes part-time, distance-learning courses and the MBA)
Be self-funded (you must be paying for your studies independently rather than being sponsored or in receipt of another scholarship)
Not be from the Surrey International Study Centre (SISC).
Applicants in receipt of the International Excellence Award will not be eligible for the alumni discount as the value of this award is higher.


The bursary program is open to new, full-time international students enrolling in MSc, PGDip, and MBA programs starting in January 2025. Applicants must be fee-paying, meet RAU’s academic and visa requirements, and have an offer of admission.

An eligible international student can apply for this bursary alongside the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship.

Students who withdraw, move to alternative accommodation or otherwise leave early, will lose their bursary entitlement and be liable for the full, pro-rata remainder of any fees.
