NCHR Intensive Course 2025 in Oslo, Norway (Fully Funded) Undergraduate, Post-Graduate Art & Design,Engineering&Technology,Religion & Ethics

The course is introductory and inter-disciplinary. It aims to provide participants with an understanding of international human rights norms, as well as the systems for protecting these at international, regional and national level. It mainly targets professionals who have a job relevant to human rights.

Selection criteria

Job relevance: To what extent the knowledge gained from the course may be useful in your current job, to you and to others

In the selection process, the organisers will opt for a diversity of professional backgrounds, including a good balance between civil servants, civil society representatives, and others with relevant background (such as legal practitioners, representatives of independent state institutions like courts and ombudsman, and people working for international organisations, and academics)

Added value: This is a basic course. Applicants who already have undergone extensive studies in human rights are normally not prioritized

Language: An adequate level of written and oral English skills is required to follow the course

Geographical location: We aim to have participants from different countries and regions
