Saitama University is a Japanese national university ranked 1627th in Best Global Universities. It is located in a suburban area of Sakura-ku, Saitama City, capital of Saitama Prefecture in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, founded in 1949.

Undergraduate study programmes offered at Saitama University can be applied for.
Eligibility:
The applicants must be enrolled in a university-authorized athletic club.
So, OIST Japanese Internship applicants from any country with any nationality can apply. The duration of the internship is between 2 and 6 months, Normally 10 to 12 weeks.
Eligibility Criteria
Students can be from any country. There is no nationality restriction.
No need for any IELTS or TOEFL Test.
Students who are enrolled in a Graduate Degree program can apply.
Students who are enrolled in an Undergraduate Degree program can also apply.
Students who are recently graduated can also apply.
MEXT
Applicants can apply for the MEXT Undergraduate Scholarship as well as MEXT Masters and PhD scholarships. MEXT Scholarship is available in all Fields in almost 90% of Japanese Universities and available in English Programs.
Eligibility Criteria for MEXT Scholarship 2024
Bachelors Students: Must have completed a secondary education if applying for an Undergraduate program.
Master Students: Must have completed an Undergraduate program if applying to a Master’s.
Ph.D. Students: Applicants with a master’s degree are eligible to apply for Doctoral Degree programs.
IELTS is not required.

Saitama University
This scholarship is offered to international and Japanese undergraduate-level students seeking admission at Saitama University. The applicants must be enrolled in the university-authorized athletic club to be considered.

Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology
There will be No Extension. During this time all the expenses will be covered by the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST). Also, there is no IELTS or any English Language Proof needed. You can apply without the application fee.
Internship Fields
Internees will be able to work and do research on one of the following fields during their Internship program in OIST.
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Neuroscience, Mathematics, Computational Science, Environmental, Ecological, and Marine Sciences, Science, Engineering, and Medical.
