The International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna is Austria’s oldest international piano competition and ranks among the most renowned music competitions today. Founded more than 60 years ago, it is hosted by the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

The International Beethoven Piano Competition is a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions.

Benefits
This scholarship covers half of the participation costs for the MSc program, providing financial support to students passionate about environmental technology and international affairs.
Eligibility:
First academic degree (BA) from all disciplines
Proof of financial need (payslip)
Selection Process:
If the number of eligible applications exceeds the scholarships available, ranking will be based on grade point average and, if necessary, ECTS credit points or completed semester hours.
Notification:
Applicants will be informed of the decision in writing. There is no legal entitlement to the award.

Scholarships range from EUR 750 to EUR 3,600, awarded under private sector administration by the Dean of Students, independent of the social need of the applicant.
