University of Sunderland in London
The University of Sunderland in London, located near the Canary Wharf financial district, is a base we’re proud of having in one of the most vibrant cities in the world. The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the University of Sunderland or York St John University.
Undergraduate Applicants:
For foundation programs: WAEC (or equivalent) with no lower than a B grade.
For Year 1 entry: A-Levels, IB, or WAEC with no lower than a B grade, plus one year of HND or Year 1 Bachelor’s completion.


The study program is open to applicants must be international students currently residing in Australia, intending to start the Master of Research (MRes) program at Macquarie University in July 2025.
Availability
Awards will only be available to applicants who, at the time of application:
are not an Australian/New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident
are onshore in Australia at the time of application
intend to reside in Sydney, Australia during their candidature
plan to undertake a Master of Research in July 2025 (S2 2025)
are enrolling as full-time students
meet the English language requirements for Macquarie graduate research degrees
meet the admission criteria for the Master of Research (refer to schedule 2.3)
have confirmation of supervision from an eligible Macquarie University researcher (compulsory for FMHHS and desirable for the other faculties)

Eligibility
An international student in accordance with the University’s Fee Policy in the year of the award;
Enrolled full-time in an Approved Program in the year of the award; and
A resident at International House in the year of the award.
Selection criteria
The Scholarship is awarded to the student showing the greatest merit based on –
Academic achievement; and
Any other matter that the selection committee considers to be relevant to the applicant’s future success in their studies.


Both International and Domestic students can apply for the RTP Scholarship at Deakin University to pursue Higher Degree Research (HDR) programs through Masters, and PhD. The scholarship is open to all nationals.

A relocation allowance from $500 to $1,500 (for single to family).
