This postdoctoral position is open to applications from black (of African descent; for example, Africans and African heritage people from the Caribbean, Americas, and Europe) students. The candidates must possess a PhD degree from the university.

Admission Requirements: 

All eligible applicants must meet the entry requirements to study at the Toronto Metropolitan University.

Language Requirement:

 Applicants must meet English language qualifications if English is not the applicant’s first language.

Eligibility of PEO International Peace Scholarship 2024 for Pakistan

 Pakistani female students who have been admitted to a full time graduate course.

 Pakistani female students who is qualified to seek admission in a graduate level course.

Students who are receiving funding at Cottey College can apply for graduate IPS funds. However, the amount won’t exceed $25000.

Students who have been enrolled in online or internship are not eligible unless it’s included in the course work.

Academic Requirements

For PhD applicants in School of Engineering Science: a Master of Science degree is required by SFU Engineering Science

For outstanding applicants with only a Bachelor degree, we can admit you as a Master student and then transfer you to a PhD student after one year. This is essentially the same as admitting as a PhD student directly in US.

For PhD applicants in School of Computing Science: direct PhD admission from undergraduate students is allowed by SFU Computing Science 

Documents Required For PEO Scholarship Application 

A copy of confirmation of admission to a university in USA or Canada.

Pakistani students needs to sign a document in which they promise to return to their home country upon completion of the course.

Students needs to submit an application explaining all their expenses and all their financial resources.

Those Pakistani students who seek admission in Cottey College are required to submit a letter of recommendation by director of admission of the college along with the confirmation of admission letter.

3M National Student Fellowship 2023.

Benefits:
