Minimum cumulative GPA of a “B” on the BI ECTS scale after completion of each academic semester.

The educational scholarship program is exclusively available to new international students and Norwegian applicants who want to commence a master’s degree program at the BI Norwegian Business School. BI Norwegian Business School is a globally recognized not-for-profit private institution. Established in 1943, BI has one of the largest and most active academic environments in Europe and has four campuses.

All candidates will be assessed according to the ECTS scale. Applicants with international bachelor’s degrees will have their grades converted to the ECTS scale

To be eligible for the scholarship, you need to have completed or be about to complete a relevant Master’s degree by the summer of 2025. This should be a Master of Science degree with thesis work or a research master’s/M.Phil degree. An MBA does not meet the requirements. You also need to take either the TOEFL or IELTS test unless you qualify for an exemption.
Benefits
The four-year scholarship provides a stipend of NOK 572,800 per year.
Membership in the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund.
The scholarship includes 25% teaching responsibilities equivalent to a full-time professor position.
PhD candidates will work at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, Norway.
