
The Future Scientist Exchange Program (FuSEP) 2025, presented by the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring scientists worldwide. This famous summer research program aims to promote academic excellence, cross-cultural collaboration, and ground-breaking research.
FuSEP is a five-week summer research program for outstanding undergraduate and graduate students with a strong interest in scientific investigation. Participants will conduct research projects under the supervision of significant USTC faculty, attend academic lectures, and participate in cultural activities.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for FuSEP 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Eligibility: University-enrolled undergraduate and graduate students having a solid academic record in STEM or related subjects.
- Research Interest: Applicants should be passionate in scientific research and innovation, particularly in one of the program's disciplines.
- Language Proficiency: All activities are conducted in English, thus participants must be proficient in the language. While an official test result (such as the TOEFL or IELTS) is not required, proficiency will be evaluated using application materials.
- Full Participation: Applicants must be available for the whole program (June 28 - July 31, 2025) and willing to actively participate in research, seminars, and cultural activities.
- International candidates must a valid passport for travel to China.
