6 Pakistani Universities among World’s 800 Best Universities

Quacquarelli Symonds the British Institute has compiled the list of 2014 and 2015 for the best 800 universities in the world; six Pakistani Universities are also included in that list. The list of these six Pakistani universities is under below:

1-       National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Islamabad

National University and technology (NUST) is situated in Islamabad, it is one the best university of Pakistan. National University and technology (NUST) was established in 1991. According to list of Quacquarelli Symonds the British Institute, the NUST is on No. 500. This university was on 251 ranks according to the Subjects. However, in terms of faculty the university was on No. 398. According to the Best Universities in Asia it was on 119 Number and in 2012 the university was took place on No. 401.

2-       Quaid-E-Azam University Islamabad

In the List of the best universities issued, Quaid e Azam University Islamabad is on No. 651. The university established in 1967. However, Quaid-e-Azam University is on No. 151 according to the Subjects and in the terms of Best Universities in Asia it is on 116 Number.

3-       Lahore University of Management and Sciences (LUMS)

Lahore University of Management and Sciences (LUMS) established in 1984 in Lahore city of Pakistan. According to list of Quacquarelli Symonds the British Institute, the LUMS is on No. 701. This university was on 251 ranks in the year of 2012. According to the Best Universities in Asia it was on 161 Number.

4-       University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore

University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore established in 1929. In the List of best Universities issued by the Quacquarelli Symonds the British Institute, UET is on No.701. This university was on 601 ranks in the year of 2012. According to the Best Universities in Asia it was on 251 Number.

5-       University of Karachi

University of Karachi established in 1952 in city of Karachi. In the list of best universities in world, University of Karachi is on No 701. According to the Best Universities in Asia it was on 251 Number.

6-       University of Lahore

University of Lahore established in 1999 in city Lahore Pakistan. In the list of best universities in world University of Lahore is on No.701.
